Graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2000, with a Bachelor of Dental Science with Honours, Rebecca worked in Melbourne as a general dentist in public and private practice for eight years. In 2009 she sold her private practice, and stopped ‘drilling, filling and billing’ to work exclusively in the field of Dental Sleep Medicine.
In 2023 she became one of only 21 dentists in Australasia to be awarded a fellowship in Dental Sleep Medicine from the Australasian Sleep Association.
As a pioneer in the Melbourne Dental Sleep Industry, Rebecca has personally helped over 5000 people with custom-made Mandibular Advancement Splints (MAS). Each of these patients have received long term follow up care. Few dentists in the country have had such long-term experience on such a large scale with sleep apnoea mouthguards.
Rebecca works in collaboration with doctors and specialists to treat patients with a range of symptoms and comorbidities who require a CPAP alternative, or are not suitable for sleep apnoea surgery.
Rebecca is a member of:
~ Australasian Sleep Association
~ Australian Dental Association
~ American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine
~ Sleep Disorders Australia – Sleep Apnoea Co-ordinator
~ Sleep Disorders Australia– Victorian Branch Liason
~ Sleep Health Foundation
